Official Guidelines & Terms of Participation
The 7 Days Closer challenge is a 7-day commitment to consistent Bible reading and reflection. The challenge is completely free — no card required and no subscription.
After signing up, you must complete 3 onboarding questions within 24 hours.
The moment you finish onboarding, your Day 1 passage is sent and your challenge begins. Your reflection is due by midnight that night in your timezone. If you finish setup after 8pm, Day 1 arrives at 8am the next morning instead so you get a full day with it.
Every day for 7 days, your Bible passage arrives via text at 8:00 AM in your timezone. The text includes a link to read the full passage and one reflection question.
You must reply to each day's passage before midnight (11:59 PM) in your timezone.
If you have not responded by 7:00 PM in your timezone, you will receive one reminder text. Only one per day.
Your challenge ends if:
There are no extensions, no grace periods, and no exceptions.
Audio readings, the narrated explainer, and Passage Q&A (up to 10 questions per month, resetting 30 days after your first question) are available to anyone who has made a contribution of any size, one-time or monthly. Everything else in the challenge is the same for everyone.
If you fail, you can restart for free. The restart follows all the same rules as your original attempt.
Completing all 7 days earns your certificate — and the challenge simply continues. Your daily passage keeps arriving every morning, your streak keeps counting from Day 7, and milestone rewards unlock at 30, 180, and 365 days. After Day 7 there are no hard deadlines: miss a morning and your streak resets, but your membership never ends. Continuing costs nothing; support is optional, and every streak reward is earned by showing up.
